Follow these steps to install Acrobat Reader DC using Internet Explorer.

Close all versions of Reader. Close any browser that is displaying a PDF.

Go to the Adobe Acrobat Reader download page and click Install now.

When the file download message appears at the bottom of the browser window, click Run.

When you see the confirmation message that the installation is complete, click Finish.

Follow these steps to install Acrobat Reader DC using Mozilla Firefox.

  • You need to install a Java 8 virtual machine. When available, we strongly recommend using the JVM distributed by Sun Oracle as our experience has been that other JVMs introduce a lot of issues in PDF Studio Viewer (GTK issue with toolbar spacing issues, no SWT support for native file browser, other bugs with image rendering). You can download one from Sun’s Java web site or contact your OS manufacturer.
