Download drivers
To download the latest Windows and Mac drivers for the SanDisk Express Card.
https://servicesplus.us.sony.biz/sony-software-model-SXSDRIVERS.aspx
NOTE: The Mac drivers were updated December 2008 to fix a problem using the driver with the new MacPro laptops released in late 2008. Please review release notes provided on the link.
WARNING: It is not recommended to format your Express Card on your computer. SanDisk recommends formatting the Express Card only on your Sony XDCAM EX.
More info regarding drivers
- The SxS card device drivers are only required only if you intend on inserting your SxS cards directly in an ExpressCard slot in your computer.
- If you use the SBAC-US10 SxS card reader, PMW-EX1 or PMW-EX3 camcorders, or the PMW-EX30 deck, you do not need to install these drivers - they are treated as USB Mass Storage devices by the operating system.
SanDisk and Sony have jointly developed SxS, a specification that is optimized for Sony professional video cameras, and to verify that ExpressCard memory cards will support the high-speed performance required for professional video. The SanDisk ExpressCard carries the SxS logo, and is fully compatible with Sony's new XDCAM EX, which has two ExpressCard slots.
