A screen reader is an essential piece of software for a blind or visually impaired person. Simply put, a screen reader transmits whatever text is displayed on the computer screen into a form that a visually impaired user can process (usually tactile, auditory or a combination of both). If you aren't using an enhanced-quality voice, you can remove it:

You can't delete the Siri voices for your country or region. You can change the language and country or region settings to delete some Siri voices, but at least one of the Siri voices for your country or region will download automatically.
